Kevin Patrick, MD, MS, is a professor of family and preventive medicine at the University of California, San Diege, where he directs Calit2's Center for Wireless and Population Health Systems. His research focuses on the use of information and communications technology to measure and improve health-related behaviors of individuals and populations.

In this IHRP Distinguished Lecture, Dr. Patrick discussed how advances in sensing technology, networking, computing and data science are helping to intervene in the complex dynamics of biological, behavioral, social and environmental influences on health.
