Group sequential tests are commonly used for interim analysis in clinical trials to monitor progress for early termination. Dr. Chen introduced such an analysis and demonstrated a simple example in R software.

Hosted by the IHRP Methodology Research Core, Chalk Talks are Informal educational seminars that focus on current methodological issues in population health sciences.

Intended for doctoral-level health scientists and social science researchers focusing on social determinants of health and population health investigations, these sessions are usually held on the second Tuesday of the month at 1 p.m.
