Addressing Tobacco in Health Care (National Network Office)

Also known as

Network to Sustain and Expand Tobacco Related Health Care Policy and Systems

Goal

To integrate effective tobacco treatment as part of basic health care.

Abstract

This network continues the work accomplished in Addressing Tobacco in Managed Care by serving as a nexus for tobacco control researchers and their partners who are interested in systems change research, facilitating collaboration and linkages, providing research technical assistance, and disseminating state-of-the-art information and tools. The network also serves as a platform that explores the establishment of a public-private partnership that both supports the network activities delineated above and provides a mechanism for offering systems change research grants.
