Research Interests

Dr. Houser-Marko's research interests in social and health psychology involve three related lines of research that are useful in addressing health behaviors such as smoking cessation and physical activity. These three themes are: the self, identity, and motivation; health behavior change and motivation; and developing interventions that consider quality of motivation.
