Eligibility: Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Doctoral students who have passed their preliminary exams will be considered for predoctoral fellowships. Candidates for postdoctoral fellowships must have completed a research-oriented doctoral degree in any of the social or health sciences. Experience and expertise in adolescent research and/or quantitative methods is preferred.
Compensation: Salary is competitive with excellent fringe benefits.
Other amenities: All postdoctoral fellows will be provided with office space, a computer, phone, and access to university resources through the Center for Health Behavior Research and will be provided with consultation with the IHRP Methodology Research Core.
Examples of research topics:
- Etiology and prevention of child behavior problems such as smoking, drug use, antisocial behavior, and unsafe sex
- HIV prevention at the community level in Zimbabwe
