Dr. Jamie Chriqui is a member of the Bridging the Gap research team, a nationally recognized research program funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation that aims to improve the understanding of how policies and environmental factors affect diet, physical activity and obesity among youth. Dr. Chriqui is the lead author of Local Wellness Policies: Assessing School District Strategies for Improving Children’s Health: School Years 2006-07 and 2007-08, the most comprehensive ongoing analysis of federally mandated district wellness policies, published in July 2009.
