About “Visiting” Positions:
In a grant-supported environment such as IHRP, some full-time non-faculty positions are designated "visiting" positions. Visiting positions are eligible for the university's full benefits package, but are for designated periods of employment, usually one year (up to five years if funded by a grant). Because they are temporary, these positions do not require a formal search process.
For UIC Students
UIC graduate students interested in IHRP assistantships are encouraged to respond to specific job announcements. If none are listed, they may submit their resumes for future openings at Resumes_IHRP@uic.edu. Do not use this address to respond to specific announcements.
