Special Journal Issue on Childhood Obesity
THIS IS THE TEST BLOCK WITH NEW DESIGN. The Health Policy Center contributed several articles to and edited the October 2007 special issue of the American Journal of Preventive Medicine. The supplement focused on obesity among U.S. youth as part of the center's ImpacTeen research.
About the Health Policy Center
Center researchers specialize in the analysis of large datasets, meshing detailed individual-level national survey data with extensive regional economic and environmental data from the U.S. census, Dun & Bradstreet, Nielsen Media Research and the American Chambers of Commerce Research.
A cornerstone of the center's research portfolio is the ImpacTeen project. The project, part of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Bridging the Gap: Research Informing Practice and Policy for Healthy Youth Behavior, focuses on economic, environmental, and policy influences on youth substance use and obesity.
