Evaluation Experts

William W. Baldyga, MA, DrPH, whose interests include community assessment, evidence-based public health and the evaluation of chronic disease programs.

Charles W. LeHew, PhD, who works with community partners throughout Illinois to plan, design, implement, and evaluate community-based health promotion and cancer control programs, which include community organizing, community-based outreach and public health education, provider training, and screening for early detection. He assists community partners with a full range of evaluation activities from needs assessment through outcome evaluation.

Karen E. Peters, DrPH, whose interests include community-based participatory action research and evaluation, state and local strategic planning and assessment, health impact and dissemination evaluation and curriculum development evaluation for interdisciplinary health professions practice.

Dianne Rucinski, PhD, whose research interests range from improving survey measurement of health status and outcomes to improve data for decision-making to the role of communication in eliminating health disparities. Her research with community organizations focuses on assessing the mutual influences of organizations, interventions and research.
